One of the premier truths of our reality is simply; there is “none besides Him (the Creator).” This reminds us that there is nothing greater or equal to our Creator. Last time we touched on the fact that only two things exist. The Creator and the creature, the Creator gives and the creature receives. The creature was created and thus is subordinate to the Creator and requires a constant sustainment of the Creator to continue the creature’s existence.
When we speak of heaven or hell, good or evil, this is based upon a belief
that a battle takes place between two opposing and equal forces. These forces are considered
incompatible. However, “none besides
Him”, actually teach us that there is no such thing. Thus there is no battle but rather there are
cooperative forces that are wholly created and sustained by the Creator to
bring about the Creator’s will.
It should be noted that nowhere within the Torah is heaven
or hell mentioned as places of reward and punishment. The Torah is the prime place for such
concepts or places to appear. But they
do not! Why? Is it possible they simple don’t exist??
